Frequently asked — Qatar

How will the laptops be delivered to Qatar, and to which city?

UAEPC Express carries the goods from our Sharjah warehouse to Doha in 7-10 days from departure, plus the preparation time, which depends on the order size. You choose door-to-door delivery in Doha or collection from our contracted cargo branch.

How are customs clearance and import duties handled? Are they included in the price?

They are included. Our team picks the entry point for each shipment, Abu Samra, Hamad Port or Hamad Airport, and we and the freight company clear the goods there. The customs duty is inside the flat freight rate, and you prepare no paperwork.

Does the price include shipping to Qatar?

No, the goods and the freight are priced separately. Freight is a flat 150 AED per laptop or desktop and 300 AED per monitor or All-in-One carton, door to door to Doha, clearance and duty included. You can pay it when the goods arrive in Doha, and a discount on freight is possible when you raise your proforma.

Is the cargo insured on the way to Doha?

Yes, at no extra charge. The contracted freight company insures the cargo and is responsible for the goods in transit, not UAEPC. There is nothing for you to arrange.

Are the laptops new? Do they come with a charger and the original box?

No. They are used business laptops refurbished to Grade A+: tested, repainted and backed by a 60-day warranty from delivery. Chargers are 15 AED each. Laptops ship in export cartons of 10 with a packing list, not in individual retail boxes.

Can you offer a better price for 100 laptops or for regular orders?

Yes. The unit price improves with quantity, and regular bulk orders are welcome. Send the models and quantity, or raise a free proforma from our price list: our best price for that volume, with freight to Doha, comes back in under 4 working hours.

Can my agent inspect the goods in Sharjah before they leave for Qatar?

Yes, by prior arrangement. Your representative or an independent inspection company can check the cargo in our Sharjah warehouse before it is packed. Any inspection fee is paid by the buyer.

Which documents come with a shipment to Qatar?

A commercial invoice, a packing list and a Certificate of Origin, provided free with every order.

Can the invoice show a lower value for Qatari customs?

No. Every invoice states the true value of the goods; the insurance cover follows that value, so a lower invoice would only weaken your protection.

How do buyers in Qatar pay?

By bank transfer, cash or USDT, with the invoice in AED or USD. Pay from any bank or exchange house you like, as long as it goes to the company account on the proforma, never a personal account. 50% confirms the order and 50% is paid before departure.
