To Addis Ababa. Light cargo travels as air or consolidated cargo and is delivered to your door. Heavy cargo goes by sea through Djibouti, then inland to Modjo Dry Port, about 13-25 days from departure, where you clear it and take delivery. Order preparation time depends on the order size.
It depends on the cargo. For light door-to-door shipments, we and the freight company handle clearance. Heavy sea cargo is cleared by you at Modjo Dry Port with the Ethiopian Customs Commission. Duty is not inside the laptop price; on door-to-door shipments it is added to the invoice or paid to our contracted freight company on delivery.
No. The laptop price is for the goods in Sharjah. Freight to Addis Ababa is calculated on your proforma from the route, volume, weight and quantity, so you know the landed cost before paying. The proforma is free and arrives in under 4 working hours.
Yes. The cargo travels under the insurance of the contracted freight company, and that company, not UAEPC, is responsible for the goods in transit, including the leg through Djibouti.
No. They are used business laptops refurbished to Grade A+: fully tested, repainted and covered by a 60-day warranty from delivery. Chargers are 15 AED each. Laptops travel in export cartons of 10 with a packing list, not in individual retail boxes.

Yes, by prior arrangement. Your representative or an independent inspection company can check the cargo in our Sharjah warehouse before it is packed. Any inspection fee is paid by the buyer.

No. Every invoice carries the true value of the goods. The insurance cover follows the invoice, so a lower value would reduce your protection on a long route.
